JEWELRY CARE

GENERAL CARE

Remove your jewelry when swimming, bathing, exercising or performing any other rough activities. Your jewelry will naturally oxidize (change color) over time. To slow this process, always avoid exposing your jewelry to excess moisture & store your pieces in an airtight container.

STERLING SILVER

Gently scrub with a toothbrush and mild soap to bring your sterling silver pieces back to their original shine, you may also polish with a jewelry polishing cloth for added luster.

GOLD VERMEIL

Gold vermeil is a layer of 14k gold plating over a sterling silver base. To ensure the longest life of your piece always remove it before swimming, bathing, exercising, or washing your hands. To clean your gold vermeil piece buff it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Store in an airtight container, such as a ziplock bag, to prevent  oxidization.

OPAL

Opals are one of nature's softest stones so it is important to treat your opal tenderly to avoid damage. Opal rings should always be removed before swimming, bathings, or washing your hands. Always avoid wearing them during rough activities that involve your hands. To clean the stone it may be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap, but should never be soaked or immersed in water.
